Dear Editor,
I would like to express my thanks to the Ghadar Jari Hai team for bringing out this issue on the centenary of the Hindustani Ghadar Party. The articles and poems around the theme of the issue are inspiring. The contribution of the Hindustani Ghadar Party cannot be ignored in Indian history and time and again it becomes imperative that this part of our history is revisited and reminds us of our revolutionary past as well as provides strength for building a future that is just and bright for all. I hope you will continue to include more pieces, articles and poems on the Ghadar and the HGP in future publications.

Dear Editor,
While I enjoyed the entire issue of the magazine titled “On the Centenary of the Hindustani Ghadar Party”, what struck me the most was the poem on the last page – “freedom is not obtained by begging”, such an apt poem, one which was not only relevant when written by the Ghadaris decades ago, but holds true to this day. We are living in a situation where the Indian people are made to believe they do not have a choice when it comes to who rules. This is not an acceptable situation for the Indian people. I wish you would continue to bring out more such issues and on a more regular basis. Eagerly awaiting the next issue of the magazine.
With regards,

Dear Editor,
Big thanks to the editorial team for bringing out yet another wonderful issue. What a rousing, timely and ever-inspiring subject! The Ghadar, its sweep and the bravery, sacrifice and vision of the Ghadarites towards a new India which would be led by all its citizens and not a handful of colonial powers is a lesson for us now as we, the people of India still struggle under the yoke of capitalism. And after the 16th Lok Sabha elections, it is even more important that we collectively work to completely change the system and not merely its face. I would also mention that having watched the poignant film Chittagong, I particularly enjoyed reading its review in the magazine. We need to popularise such films, especially among the youth. Stride forth GJH team!

Dear Editor,
The review of Chittagong film and the interview with the producer and director of the film were very interesting. The review has touched upon very important aspects of the film – the sensitive portrayal of the various actors in the unfolding drama, the great camera work and the subtle handling of the storyline where no one character is allowed to dominate others and have a larger than life role. The interview very nicely brings out the persistence and commitment that the director exhibited to complete this film against great odds.
